C.R. Designs is owned and operated by Chad Riccio. Chad has over 18 years of experience in the paint industry. As a young boy, Chad was always interested in the custom paint industry. As soon as Chad could get a job, he started detailing cars in a local body shop. He continued with this profession for a few years while working his way up to a Parts Manager and then Estimator. In 2001 Chad decided the collision industry wasn’t pleasing his creative side. So, Chad decided to start painting sand rails and golf carts out of his garage. By 2004, Chad out grew his garage and purchased a 1500 square foot shop. With side X sides on the horizon, Chad was painting them as fast as he could get them. Then in 2006, Chad expanded his business to a 3000 square foot building to meet the demand of the industry. With more work in the future and Chad’s collaboration with few well known sand rail manufactures including BSE Performance and Tatum Motor Sports, in 2008 he expanded his business once again. Chad now operates in a 5000 square foot building with a new 32 foot state of the art paint booth. Chad is thrilled for the future of the industry and what the past has brought to him.
Chad has created a business that is well respected in the off road and sand toy industry. C.R. Designs has painted a rhino for Ted or Alive Reality Show, trophy truck for Unique Whips, and sand toys for Kurt Busch, Casey Mears, Dale Jr. Earnhardt, and Paul Tracy.
